Guys, for real here. Is it me, or is spam getting out of control. I get all my email through my Scott Patterson domain, and it seems that 95% of the email that I receive is categorized as spam, and its freaking ridiculous folks. I am sick and tired of filtering spam. My freaking web hosting company wont give me the option to automatically delete the unessential messages.

Recently I saw that the percentage of spam rose approx. 10-20% this past year. According to researchers, 9 out of 10 of the 171 billion messages sent worldwide daily, are spam.

I mean seriously folks, what kind of framework is being built to prevent these kind of unnecessary messages to our email boxes and to ensure that our mailboxes receive only whats necessary for daily performance?

Ok… End of my complaint session here. Any ideas of how to change let me know. Spam just makes me feel bla! Time for me to get back to designing web pages and leave this stuff up to the IT folks. Its still so frustrating though… Especially when you get spam on a blog, such as this one.
